The  Script

Scene 3

Communist girl is shopping in the market. She bumps into the Nazi boy and drops her shopping. The Nazi boy bends over and picks up her groceries. When he gets back up, the camera follows him up. He smiles.

Scene 4

The Nazi boy and the girl walk into a rally building smiling and at each other. Behind them, a woman walks up and tears down the Nazi poster.

Scene 5

The two are having their own conversation until Hitler walks in and stands on a raised platform, watching his people in silence.

Girl

Who is that man up front?

Boy

Shush! You mustn’t talk! That’s Hitler, our Great Nazi Leader!

Girl

But-

Girl gets cut off by Hitler who has now started his speech. As she hears the words of the great speaker, she freezes, in shock and bewilderment. One by on, the rest of the audience raises their arms in the Nazi salute, until the girl is the odd-one out. Then, all the audience says the Nazi slogan, continuously. Camera zooms out among the people and girl is left in the center while all around her there are people with their arms raised, chanting. Lights fade out with Hitler’s speech. As lights fade, you see a woman looking suspiciously at the girl.
